Lesson 8 of 9 · 6 min

A working day

Call in UK hours. Stop dialling the moment a deal is alive.

When the UK is open

Call while a UK owner might pick up: about 9:00 to 17:00 UK time, avoiding the first school-run rush if you can. Late morning and mid-afternoon are usually better than 9:00 on the dot.

  • Ireland is the same time as the UK, all year.
  • Turkey in winter (late October to late March) is 3 hours ahead. A UK 9:00 to 17:00 block is 12:00 to 20:00 in Turkey.
  • Turkey in summer is 2 hours ahead. That same UK block is 11:00 to 19:00 in Turkey.

How the day actually runs

  1. Step 1

    Open the calls screen

You get one business at a time. Tick what happened before you move to the next one.

  2. Step 2

    Call in a block

Stay on the phone. Notes stay short. When someone names a gap, write their words and their number down.

  3. Step 3

    A demo appears

Drop the list. Confirm the time. Prepare. Run it. Close it or book a follow-up with a real day and clock time, not "sometime next week".

  4. Step 4

    Hand off the same day

A yes goes to Josiah before you do anything else. Then you may take the next number.

  5. Step 5

    End of day

Every open person has a note with a real day and clock time, or a clean no. Stops are already ticked, so there is nothing else to send.

Do not re-call a number. Once it is called, it is done, for you and for everyone else.
