Lesson 1 of 9 · 8 min
How this job works
You call and you close. We hand you the numbers.
What you are here to do
J.V. Automations installs a speed-to-lead system into UK trade businesses. It replies to new enquiries instantly, qualifies the job, and books it into J.V. Bookings.
You are both the caller and the closer. You are not a researcher, and you are not the person who builds the system. Josiah, who runs J.V., installs it after you close.
- Call the businesses we give you, one at a time.
- Find owners who are missing calls or replying too slowly.
- When someone wants to see it, stop calling and close that deal.
- Hand a closed deal to Josiah with the details filled in.
The path
One kind of business, one offer, one path. Learn this before you learn any lines.
Step 1
Call a UK trade owner
One business at a time, from the calls screen.
Step 2
Name one real gap
Missed calls, slow replies, jobs sitting while they are on a van. Found by asking, not by telling.
Step 3
Book 15 minutes
The cold call sells the meeting. It does not sell the system.
Step 4
On the demo, start from their words
Walk that gap. Look for one more leak only if it is real.
Step 5
Walk one job through the system
Their trade, their kind of job.
Step 6
State the price once
$7,500 setup, $997 a month.
Step 7
Ask
Yes or no. Then stop talking.
Step 8
If yes, hand off to Josiah
With the details filled in. You do not install.
The one rule
A half-finished conversation with a real buyer is worth more than another hour of cold calls. The next number will still be there after the deal is handled.
Why people buy
People buy from someone they respect, not someone they like. Being liked gets you a chat. Being respected gets you the decision. Be friendly, but do not spend the call trying to be liked and then pitch. Respect comes from two things: you understand this trade's phone problem, and you do not need the sale.
Owners move for one of two reasons:
- Pain now: calls missed, jobs gone, an empty week after a busy one.
- Pain they can see coming: a quieter month ahead, a competitor who answers faster.
If neither is clear, that is usually on you. You have not made the gap visible yet. Ask once, honestly, before you decide there is no deal.
The sale is decided early
If you lose them in the first few seconds, nothing you say at the end brings them back. The opener and your first real question matter more than the close.
If the first answer is flat and stays flat after one real question, end the call politely. A closed-off owner is a wall. Pushing through the rest of the script wastes the time you could spend on the next number.
Sounds like it's not a fit. I'll leave you to it.
What you do not do
- You do not find phone numbers. We pull them from Google Maps.
- You do not screen the TPS or CTPS registers. We do that before a number reaches you.
- You do not send cold texts.
- You do not install the system or promise features that are not in this course.
- You do not change the price on a call. The offer is fixed.
How to use this academy
Work the lessons in order. Most end with a short check. You need 2 out of 3 right to mark it complete. You can retry as often as you like.
Your progress is saved in this browser. Use the same phone or computer when you come back. On the calls screen, the Scripts button opens every line beside the number you are calling.
Check you have it
3 questions. 2 right marks this lesson complete.
1. A prospect says they want to see how the system works. What do you do?
2. What is the cold call selling?
3. The owner's first answer is flat, and it stays flat after one real question. What now?
Pass the check above to mark this lesson complete.
